Firstly, the beach: It is a long, south-facing, sandy coastline, well-equipped with umbrellas, beach loungers and chairs with all the services you may need. The beach is particularly suitable for children thanks to its long stretch of shallow water making it safe for children. In summer there are play areas and a mini-club service.
By buying a ticket you can visit the water park located on the main beach where the main attractions are a sea- water pool, whirlpools, water-slides and diving boards.
The Hotel Abbazia is perfectly situated just a few metres away from the entrance to the beach. Why not let the hotel book an umbrella for you?

The Laguna of Grado.
Escape from the bustle of Grado to the islands in the lagoon for some time at one with nature. Here you could see the typical straw huts casoni. You can also rent a taxi-boat or batela.
Grado welcomes cyclists. From the town centre you can cycle out to the Val Cavanata nature reserve and bird-watching paradise or the Isola della Cona where the wild horses of the Camargue roam free.
